Space Saturday - Night Sky Horizon

The night sky is brighter than you might think, which makes light pollution even more dramatic when you think about it.  It has to be so much brighter than the stars so as to not let you even see them except for a very few.

Space Saturday - Crawl Spaces

Sometimes space is just somewhere you can call home.  I'm sure there are a lot of guys who would look at this space and immediately start thinking where the pool table might go. We bar please!

Whatever you might imagine, a crawl space can become anything you can imagine.  What would you do with this space?

Space Saturday - Imagining the Future

When we imagine what space can be and what we want to do with it, that's when we come up with the ideas that will eventually be refined to what we will do in the future.  Rarely is the idea a direct link to reality though.  The millions of things we don't think about shape the idea into something that can work.

Space Saturday - Purple Nebula

I love a good nebula.  They are one of the most showy blips in the sky.  This one is purple, one of my favorite colors.  This is such a twofer.

Love this color of green in this nebula pic from NASA

Space Saturday Brightened Space

Space looks black usually to us in the city but when you have the ability to do longer exposures or brighten data you've collected for an image you can often see brilliant scenes.

Space Saturday Sand Piles

Nasa has such cool photos and many of them also make great jigsaw puzzles.
